What's
it feel like when you worry?
Anxious?
Nervous?
Uncertain?
Scared??
You start seeing and feeling all the terrible things that could happen
to you in the future....
Failure, rejection, pain....
That unbearable feeling that no matter what you do, no
matter how hard you try.... that feeling of complete inability to
control what's going on around you overwhelms your senses and clouds your
reason...
Whatever
your symptoms are, you can't keep living like this.
I'm serious. This isn't even up for discussion.
You have to find a way to stop worrying right here, right now because if
you keep doing what you've been doing right now, you're gonna keep getting
exactly what you're getting...
And you don't want that, do you?
Worry
makes you a victim.
And you're not supposed to be a victim.
You're supposed to be happy, prosperous and enjoying your life to the
fullest.
So if you want to have peace of mind, if you want to be happy, if you
want to be able to relax and take as much pleasure from your life as you
possibly can....
Because I'm going to show you a way that you can stop worrying with the
least amount of effort and in the shortest time possible...
Now, let me be clear. It will take some effort. But
there is a reason why the formula I'm going to show you is so effective.
We're
going to kill the enemy with it's own weapon.
How do you worry?
1) You think about something in the future that hasn't happened yet...
2) You imagine an outcome that you don't want to happen...
3) You keep thinking about it over and over, and over, and over again.
Here's an example.
A few years ago there was a girl that I really wanted to talk to and ask
her out for a date.
But I didn't.
Because the moment I could have done it I immediately started thinking
about all the things that could happen, neither of which I
wanted to happen.
What if she rejects me?
What if I make a fool out of myself?
What if it doesn't work?
What if I'll lose my time?
I was paralyzed and did nothing...
You see, worry causes fear, fear causes pain and your brain is
programmed to avoid pain.
But there is a way to stop worrying in a way that hurts you and use THE
SAME PROCESS to engineer your success...
Here's
how it works.
1) You think about something in the future that hasn't happened yet...
2) You imagine an outcome that you want to happen...
3) You keep thinking about it over and over, and over, and over again.
So here's what I did in another situation.
This one time I was waiting for a bus and I saw this girl...
And I was starting to come up with every single reason not to talk to
her.
But I stopped this negative thinking and started thinking about
something good that could happen.
Well, what if it does work?
What if I'm going to open the door to the best time of my life?
And even if it doesn't work, what if I learn something that will benefit
me in the future?
I mean, she won't bite me, right? :)
One question fuels another. The more negative questions you ask, the
more you'll come up with. The more positive questions you ask, the more you'll
be able to come up with.
And questions will cause your feelings, your feelings will cause your
actions and your actions will determine your results.
Here's
what you need to do.
Next time you start worrying and thinking about what you don't want to
happen...
1) Notice the thoughts you're thinking and immediately do
something rapid that will snap you out of this pattern. You can start jumping,
yelling, waving your arms, doing push-ups etc. Get creative.
2) Think about the same situation and imagine an outcome that you want
to happen.
3) Come up with 3 questions that reinforce the positive outcome you're
imagining.
Questions like:
What if it works out?
What if I can do it?
What if I'll have fun?
It depends on your situation, but you get the point, right?
Uff...
So here it it. A complete blueprint for how you can stop worrying and
use the same process to your advantage.
Worry is effortless. It seems to just happen. And if you become aware of
the process that we discussed, success will also be effortless.
